My Butterfly Project | Day 4

Look how big our caterpillars are getting! We noticed that whenever they get too close to each other, they flinch or jerk away. We're not sure why, but it's kind of funny.

In our research on caterpillars, we found out that some caterpillars react to a human scream! They shake when they hear loud sounds as a defense against parasite flies (that make a sound at a similar frequency to a scream).
